Our

Portfolio

Our portfolio seeks white spaces in the global menu of offerings and one-by-one, replaces animals with satisfying alternatives– ultimately seeking a seamless means to move from unsustainable animal proteins to plants or cell agriculture. Everyone wins when we do it right – our environment, our citizens, and the animals we share the planet with.

Plants are the cornerstone building blocks of all consumable proteins. We focus on removing animals from the food chain – streamlining the process and permanently eliminating the inefficiencies and collateral damage that is inextricable from animal agriculture. We also benefit from the wide spectrum that plants offer consumers. We combine culinary arts, food science and unique ingredients to meet consumers where they are.

We also see a large opportunity in cellular agriculture – genuine animal meat without slaughter, and novel proteins. Our thesis is that cellular agriculture and plant-based proteins will ultimately integrate to produce various functional blends. Our focus is to move away from science projects and onward to scaling and production. This is simply an astounding opportunity and a solution to many of our societal problems.

This bucket of investments generally falls under convenience and/or opportunity exploration. Part of our thesis is that we need to gather regional data – and this includes regional trends, buying patterns, consumer behaviour, and unique merchandizing.
